Hair cloning for baldness

Men and women in millions face hair loss and baldness and try a lot of medications and other ways to get their hair back. One can come across various medications that can be applied on the scalp or taken orally for getting back thick hair. Apart from the medications, there are several other techniques that help in the re-growth of hairs and one such technique is hair cloning.

Though hair cloning is not widely used, it is still practiced by many. It is a method by which the cells that are considered to control the growth of hair are extracted and multiplied in a lab. Once they are multiplied, they are injected into the scalp of the person having baldness. Normally the derma papilla cells are extracted from the bulb situated at the bottom of a donor's hair follicle.

The derma papilla cells are known to stimulate the surrounding hair follicles. Moreover, these cells are also known to stimulate other cells to develop hair follicles.

Apart from the derma papilla cells, keratinocytes cells also plays an important role while hair cloning. These cells along with derma papilla cells are cultured in a lab and inserted into the scalp of a bald man or woman, which leads to hair growth.

While going for hair cloning, you should have to only approach an experienced physician. One of the main problems with hair cloning is that one has to make sue that the hairs grow evenly. Well, one can just imagine how it will look when the hairs are not evenly distributed. Another important thing is that all scalps may not accept the cloned cells.
